A warm welcome to our new clients in New Zealand

Rotorua Lakes Council, Waikato Regional Council and South Wairarapa District Council join the Infocouncil family!

We’d like to extend a big warm welcome to three New Zealand councils who joined the Infocouncil family recently.

Rotorua Lakes Council

A sister city with another Infocouncil family member Lake Macquarie in NSW, Rotorua Lakes District Council is a territorial authority district in the North Island of New Zealand. Rotorua District covers 2,409.30 km with a population of 78,000.

Rotorua had been considering automating their meeting process for 20 years and spent considerable time investigating the solutions available. Infocouncil’s reputation and functionality carried the day. We look forward to working with the governance team to ensure the solution is everything they expect and more.

Waikato Regional Council

Established in 1989 to replace Raglan County Council (established in 1876), Waikato Regional Council is a diverse region in the heart of the upper North Island. It is the fourth largest region in the country in area with a population of over half a million and encompasses all or part of eleven territorial authorities, the most of any area in New Zealand.

Waikato have elected to base their system on our Best Practice Templates solution, which provides functionality drawn from our experiences configuring systems for 37 New Zealand councils. The templates will provide simplicity, consistency and clarity across the large number of committees managed by the Governance Team.

South Wairarapa District Council

South Wairarapa encompasses the three rural towns of Featherston, Greytown and Martinborough, each with their own charm and attributes. Situated on the Southern tip of the North Island this fabulous part of New Zealand provides a true ‘mountain to the sea’ experience.

The Governance team at Council are excited to be adopting the Infocouncil automation as their meeting process is complex and currently requires many hours of painstaking formatting and reformatting of content as items move through a complex workflow from Committee, Maori Standing Committee to the Council meeting. As experts in NZ governance, Infocouncil is the only software that can genuinely automate these workflows and has a team with the experience and knowledge to configure and support the solution.
